At the center of ‘New Dubai,’ the more than3 km long Marina is encompassed by a capacious, landscaped promenade, a popular area for strollers, walkers, joggers, and cyclists. Including the waterfront, there are several cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy the magnificent sunset and watch the 200 surrounding large skyscrapers begin to light up to create a remarkable backdrop as the evening dinner cruises glide out to sea.
Most of the towers are residential and the Marina has its own mall, Dubai Marina Mall with over 130 shops, a supermarket, and a six-screen cinema. There are many clubs and hotels want with nightlife and by day you can hire a boat, take a visit, or catch one of the regular ferries to Dubai’s historic old town of Deira.
