Arada takes next level initiative to support Sharjah Community in the fight against the Coronavirus outbreak

The renowned developer “Arada” comes up with its new initiative to support the Sharjah Community in the fight with the Coronavirus pandemic. The developer announces a tranche of measures that includes the donation of 1,000 laptops to support the distance learning, in collaboration with the HP brand, known for its world-wide tech products.
While the developer has also announced other initiative including sanitation gates at key emergency service providers, free meals for the healthcare workers and sanitation kits for the residences in the Arada’s communities. In terms, the most significant part of the support package involves a contribution to the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA)’s for ‘Knowledge We Join Hands’ initiative, that has been set up to assist thousands of students in Sharjah, those are unable to afford the necessary equipment to access the distance learning schemes that have been mandated by the local authorities in the UAE.
HE Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Arada, said in the statement: “As one of Sharjah’s most prominent companies, we must support not only those who are suffering during these challenging time but also to look after those who are working so hard to keep us safe. On behalf of everyone at Arada, I would like to pay tribute to everyone working in the front line against this pandemic, including healthcare sector employees and emergency service responders”.
“Our joint efforts with HP will provide the students who receive this equipment with best-in-class technology to make the most of their classes. It’s our responsibility to help enable all students, no matter their background, to continue their education during these incredibly challenging times.”

While the donation and its collaboration with the global IT brand HP will enable the delivery of 1,000 laptops to Sharjah-based students. The SPEA will further record the serial number and name of every donated tech and ensure that the students use them correctly.
The developer has also donated several sanitation gates to emergency service providers across Sharjah. While each of the gates is specially designed to ensure about the emergency workers can perform the duties to high-level safety and efficiency along with taking care of the visitors.
Further, the developer comes with its other initiative, while tie-up with the world-class food outlets like Zad, to provide free meals to the frontline healthcare workers in the district of Madar at Aljada. As far as concerned about 1,000 meals have been donated to the employees of the two of the Sharjah largest healthcare sites, Al Qassimi Hospital and Kuwait Hospital. While the deliveries are currently in process, with iftar meals that are being provided during this Holy Month of Ramadan.
